Dr. Dieugrand Jacques was raised in a Baptist conservative christian Family Home in Thomazeau, Haiti. He made his Elementary and High School education there. At the age of 14, he first sensed a calling from God into ministry. By the time he was 17, he was serving as a Supporter to a 67 years old Pastor at a nearby church of 300 persons in Haiti. After his Baccalaureate, he was admitted to The University of the State of Haiti at The Normal Superior School in the Capital while he was teaching languages to secondary students to make a living. After the President Aristide's Coup, he got hit accidentally by a police officer who has been sent to put order at the gate of the University because of some students who started a strike to claim the return to power of the outsed president Jean-Bertrand Aristide. He got hit for no reason and decided to go study overseas.

Dr.Jacques traveled to Aruba a Netherland's Island where he worked 3 years for the Government helping Haitians refugees to know Papiamento, the dialect of the Island. In the intent to better serve the Haitians in Aruba, he founded an Organization named " Union Fraternelle des Haitiens en Aruba". After a period of 6 months, he has transformed the group into the very first Haitian Church in the Island now still in existence with more than 500 members. His sister and Brother in law are in charge of it. Pastor Jacques attended the " Centro Teologico El Buen Samaritano" of Puerto-Rico with a siege in San Nicolas Aruba where he received his Associate of science degree in Theology and Education in 1993.

Being a writer in El Diario, the Arubian Newspaper, he wrote several complaints against many abuses committed by police officers against illegal Haitians sometimes chased with dogs. To avoid troubles with the local Authorities, he left Aruba and he had the privilege to travel several Islands and countries nearby to speak to Haitians because he was very well-known for his marvelous job in the Island. He visited Curacao, St. John, Venezuela, St. Martin, and St. Thomas before he got to the USA.

For being a man with a heart for school, caring about his career, Dieugrand was always looking for school even before looking for a Job. He was blessed by an Arubian Teacher in St. Thomas Virgin Island ( Mr. Erick Van Arneman ) after preaching his third sermon in the Emmanuel Baptist church where a few Haitians attended. He stayed in the Blue water Bible college and Institute campus where he helped and preached to the students almost every morning in their devotional services.

After all the pains and sorrows known, Pastor Jacques finally entered in the U.S in 94 to be with his cousins in Boynton Beach Florida. Rev. Jacques cares so much for his studies that his first target in Florida was a Bible school. He was told about the Moody Bible Institute where he spent 4 years of studies to receive an ABS degree in 1998. Lack of English had him to enrol in an unwanted program.

Right after his graduation with Moody in 1998, he entered Jacksonville Theological Seminary where he earned a Bachelor in Theology, a Master degree in Christian Education and his Doctorate degree in a total of seven (7) years of studies. He has been teaching Computer to Adults and Elementary students for the past 7 years with the School District of Palm Beach County as a secular job.

He met Yvrose his wife in Boynton Beach, Florida while he was preaching a week of revival in a Baptist church that she was serving as Youth Director.. Yvrose finished her classes in Haiti and went to College here in West Palm Beach to become a certified nurse. Suddenly they expressed feelings for each other and they have married one year after they first met.

Yvrose is in charge of the Alliance Women of Dr. Jacques church. She is Pastor Jacques best Counselor when it comes to working for the Lord overseas. She teaches the women in the church, she preaches and help with some counseling issues. She has taken theological classes with the Christian and Missionary Alliance of Colorado Springs, the organization that Pastor Jacques is affiliated with since 1996. She is a nice and quiet woman of God, an excellent mother for the churches and her 4 children to Pastor Jacques:Jamie 9, Sefania 7, Schneider 3, and the new baby Winsley of 2 years.

Dr. Jacques planted 10 churches, 6 in Haiti ( Port-au-Prince, Delmas 33, Thomazeau, Decayette) He has one in Aruba led by his sister and Brother in Law, 2 in Venezuela, one in Boynton Beach, FL. He is still in the planting church business. He is planning to plant 2 in Florida this year. He founded Christian Movement for Disaster Relief and Development, a social organization that helps Haitians and other immigrants to live the dream of the American society here in the United States.

He speaks fluently: English, Spanish, french, Papiamento,Creole. He can hear Portuguese and is not too good at it for now. His church in Boynton Beach would be glad to receive your support for the other baby churches in Haiti, Aruba and Venezuela. Thanks in advance!
